Tăşnad, Calvinist church

"The medieval church in Tasnád has for the most part retained its original form. Its imposing size shows that it was once the former seat of the deanery. Windows with splendid traceries decorated the nave and the sanctuary, and investigations of the walls in 2010 revealed more Gothic details in the sanctuary (sacristy door, sacraments holder). The church was given to the Calvinists in the 16th century, and in 1660 it was attacked by Turks. The western tower was erected in the early 19th century. The southern porch is neo-Gothic in style."
